Beginning Watercolor

Beginning Watercolor is created in three different levels. Each level builds on the previous. For those just starting out Level 1 is the best choice. Level two builds on the basics learned in Level 1 and Level 3 expands on the skills and techniques needed to create watercolor paintings

Level 1 Course takes the student from the very beginning and teaches basic concepts and skills. These include focus on materials, how to mix and apply paint, learning basic strokes and washes and learning the basics of color theory.

Level 3 expands on level 1 and 2 skills and continues student growth development through painting various subject matter and understanding and completing each technique with greater proficiency.

Level 2 builds on the basics learned in Level 1 and applis them to building simple paintings. Each lesson begins with skill learning practice and then applies those skills to create paintings in a step by step approach
