Completing a Flower Painting with Stems and Leaves

Lesson 1: Level 2 Beginning Watercolor

Objective

Using wash techniques learned in our previous lesson we will complete and painting of three flowers with stems and leaves.

Materials Needed

1. Paints: Lemon Yellow, Cad Yellow medium, Cad Red light, Rose, Ultramarine Blue, Thalo Blue, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna

2. Brushes: Round Brush no. 2, 6, 8, 10, 12.

3. Palette

4. 9 x 12 Watercolor paper

5. Napkins, 2 water cups, pencil, ruler, graphite stick, Tape, 12 x 16 painting board.
